Under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698, the data controller is Fumefly.com. This notice explains which of your personal data are processed when you buy a flight ticket, for what purpose, and what your rights are.

Data we process

Name and surname, gender, date of birth, Turkish ID or passport details, contact details, flight preferences and information relating to the payment are processed.

Card details are not stored; they are passed straight to the payment institution.

Purposes of processing

Making the flight booking and issuing the ticket
Passing passenger data to airlines and airport authorities (APIS)
Informing you about your booking by e-mail
Meeting legal retention obligations

Transfers

To issue the ticket your data are shared with airlines, reservation systems and payment institutions, and with competent public authorities where the law requires it. For international flights they may be sent to the authorities of the destination country.

Your rights

Under article 11 of the Law you have the right to access your personal data and to ask for them to be corrected, deleted or anonymised. Send your requests to [email protected].
